01. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Urban Sketchers Raipur ("we," "our," or "the Platform"). By accessing, browsing, registering, or using our website and digital services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our companion Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website, create an artist profile, or participate in digital community features.

02. Community Purpose & Non-Profit Spirit

Urban Sketchers Raipur is an independent, non-commercial regional chapter of the global Urban Sketchers movement. Our platform is designed to celebrate on-location drawing, foster public art appreciation, announce free community meetups, and provide local artists with a digital sketchbook folio.

03. User Accounts & Authentication

To publish sketches, save favorite artworks, and participate in community features, you may register for an account. We offer sign-in via Email or third-party authentication through Google OAuth.

• You must provide accurate, truthful information when registering.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• When using Google OAuth, you grant us permission to access your basic public profile and verified email address as permitted by your Google account settings and our Privacy Policy.

04. Intellectual Property & Your Artwork Rights

By uploading or submitting sketches, titles, and descriptions to Urban Sketchers Raipur:

• Limited Display License: You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, format, cache, and index your submitted content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and highlighting your work on the Urban Sketchers Raipur website and community social channels (with author credit).
• Originality Guarantee: You confirm that you created the artwork yourself or possess all necessary rights, permissions, and releases to share it publicly.
• Right to Remove: You may edit or delete your sketches at any time through your dashboard, which removes them from public display.

05. Community Guidelines & Acceptable Use

To keep our community welcoming and inspiring for sketchers of all ages, you agree NOT to:

• Post hateful, abusive, defamatory, sexually explicit, or harassing content.
• Upload plagiarized artwork or misrepresent another artist's work as your own.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to harvest user data or disrupt website operations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, compromise, or bypass any security features of the platform.
• Distribute unsolicited commercial advertising, spam, or promotional material.

06. In-Person Meetups & Outdoor Safety

Our weekly in-person sketch sessions take place in public parks, historical monuments, street markets, and urban venues throughout Raipur.

07. Account Termination & Deletion

You are free to stop using Urban Sketchers Raipur at any time. You can request the full deletion of your account, profile, and uploaded sketches by contacting us at urbansketchersraipur@gmail.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms, engage in copyright infringement, or harm community safety.

08. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The platform and all contents are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Urban Sketchers Raipur and its community organizers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform.

09. Changes to These Terms

We may occasionally update these Terms to reflect technical improvements, legal obligations, or community evolution. When updates occur, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
